The length of four components control the width of the rear track - the lengths of the half-shafts, radius struts, transverse leaf spring; and, the positioning of the trailing arm brackets. The photo above shows the half-shafts and spring (blue) and the radius struts (below the spring - black).
This photo shows the left trailing arm, trailing arm bracket and alignment shims. The bolt through the top of the shims is anchored to the body so that the shims won't rotate and fall out. With the redesign of the trailing arm brackets the manner in which the shims are to be secured has been redesigned.
