Suspension Modifications

This photo shows the modifications to the front suspension. You can see that a plate was welded to the bottom side of the lower control arm. A 1 inch wide piece of steel was used to make the lower control arm members a full box tube. The tip of a Chevrolet lower control arm was attached to the lower control arm to provide a mount for a Chevrolet lower ball joint. The upper control arm had a piece of 1/4 inch plate welded at the end to allow for the mounting of a Chevrolet upper ball joint. Also visible, is the motor mount for the Chevy V-8.
